Magnificient Seven

This time I went alone, unfortunately. I would have loved to share this magnificient experience. 400 people in the cinema and it seemed that people loved it. Just 7 films were shown, all of them very special and wonderful. It was a great honor to be a part of it.

Slamdance!

Again on the road, me and Sarah, the editor. This time we were in Park City at the Slamdance Filmfestival. We came back with many interesting experiences and like many others with a very nasty cold. If somebody tells you Park City is a cold spot, you better believe it!

After one day the poster was covered with other posters. Organic growth.

Dioraphte Shadow Award 2007

Won again, again an audience award!!!
Apart from this fantastic surprise we had a great time in Amsterdam. The Shadow Festival is very inspiring, many interesting lectures, great catalouge, very nice people and a great festival director.

Giampaolo Paoli Award

So, this time we were in Florence at the Festival dei Popoli, Sarah (editor) and me. What a fantastic city! And of course what sweet people! We really loved it. We were terribly proud when we learned that this is such an old festival: 49 years old! And only 12 films in competition. Wow.
And we won: Targa “Giampaolo Paoli” per il Miglior Film etno-antropologico / for the best etno-anthropological film. What else do you want?

The festival is over and we won the prize of the audience. Great honor and I think, the best prize! The prizes of the jury are decided by mind, the prize of the audience by heart. What do you want more?
The festival was really great, I met fantastic people and was also in Szcecin, the other place of the festival, where our films were shown in the oldest cinema Cinema "Pionier".

The 15th of June in Prague, Bio Oko. Sarah, the editor and Natasa, the director, were curious how the audience will like the film. A kind of private screening. They loved it!
