TEMPS D'IMAGES FILM AWARD FOR FILM ON ART: On Sunday the 16th of November at 6 p.m. in Lisboa, Museu Colecção Berardo
and this is the portuges synopsis:
Miroslav Tichy viveu como um eremita durante decénios numa pequena aldeia, cercado apenas por alguns amigos. Agora, na velhice, tem de enfrentar a celebridade. “Eles deviam ter vindo antes, agora é tarde demais”, diz ele. No mundo da arte, ele é mostrado como um resistente ao regime comunista. As suas fotografias atingem preços na casa dos doze mil euros.
Em 2005, vi por acaso o catálogo de uma exposição. Havia uma página dedicada a Miroslav Tichy. Ele e oseu trabalho pareceram-me de qualidade excepcional. Interessei-me por ele e contactei o editor do catálogo, Roman Buxbaum. Ele conhecia Tichy e pareciam ser amicíssimos. Duas semanas mais tarde, eu estava em casa de Miroslav Tichy e disse-lhe: “O Sr. Buxbaum manda-lhe muitos cumprimentos”. Fiquei chocada ao ouvir uma delirante mistura de palavrões. Foi assim que tudo começou.

Magnificient Seven

This time I went alone, unfortunately. I would have loved to share this magnificient experience. 400 people in the cinema and it seemed that people loved it. Just 7 films were shown, all of them very special and wonderful. It was a great honor to be a part of it.

Slamdance!

Again on the road, me and Sarah, the editor. This time we were in Park City at the Slamdance Filmfestival. We came back with many interesting experiences and like many others with a very nasty cold. If somebody tells you Park City is a cold spot, you better believe it!

After one day the poster was covered with other posters. Organic growth.
